We realize that emergency care is expensive. The reality is that keeping a clinic staffed with highly trained doctors and nurses evenings and weekends (that’s 118 hours a week, if you don’t count holidays) is an expensive undertaking. We have taken every opportunity, however, to keep our costs low, so that we can offer your pets the quality they need at affordable prices.

As with all of the emergency hospitals in the area, we require payment at the time of service. There are, however, a couple of options:

PayPal

Your family & friends can contribute to your pet’s care, if needed. They do not need a PayPal account. To use this service, please have your angel enter your name, as well as your pet’s, and press the “Buy Now” button.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a third-party payment provider, working closely with many area veterinarians, and dentists, and many general- and specialty-practice physicians. Payment plans through CareCredit make high-quality care possible for a large number of our patients. We can help you apply online, or you can do it yourself at home. Just like learning our location and buying pet insurance, this is best done before it’s absolutely necessary!

Pet Insurance

Pet insurance is a low-cost way to ensure that the costs of care are not a stumbling block if your pet needs help, especially for a catastrophic illness (urethral obstruction in cats; parvo or intestinal foreign body surgery in dogs). Many providers even have “wellness riders,” that help defray the cost of valuable “well patient” services with your primary veterinarian, such as dental care or routine bloodwork. Pet insurance companies have long understood what our own health insurance companies are just figuring out – an ounce of prevention is better, and a whole lot cheaper, than a pound of cure!

Here’s a way to compare them:
