Emergency clinics wouldn't exist without primary veterinarians!

We appreciate you, and what you do for our mutual patients!

Communication between referring/primary practice and the emergency/referral practice is key to continuity of care. The better job we do of sharing information, the more efficient and effective care we can both deliver to our patients.

Please, share your outside laboratory access information! Sometimes it happens - you see a sick pet in the afternoon, and submit a specimen to Idexx or Antech, with plans to review the results the next morning. And most of the time, that's what happens. But what if that pet takes a turn for the worse, and has to see us that night, or over that weekend? That diagnostic information may be critical, and we will have to run the bloodwork in-house if we do not have access to your results - this is an added expense for your client, money that may have been more efficiently spent on treatment.

Share your Idexx/Antech information with us here.

We brought our Yellow Lab, Molly to your clinic on July 28th after she had suffered a compound fracture to her back leg. We fully expected her to lose that leg and possibly her life due to internal injuries. She had be run over by a John Deere Gator. The wound was filled with dirt and grass and all the lower leg bones were broken. We rushed her to your hospital and received EXCELLENT care from Dr. Andrews and the overnight staff there. She was professional, reassuring and we really felt like we had brought our beloved Molly to the right place. Dr. Andrews followed through with every thing she had promised, including an early morning call to update on our patient and her progress through the night. I wanted to thank you all for taking such good care of her during that crucial time! Because of your diligence, she is now running, fetching and even hiking in the mountains ON ALL FOUR LEGS! She seems to be fully recovered and happy as ever. Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. God Bless You ALL.
